Standard Shipping policy

I. Standard Dispatch Policies

All standard consignments within Hong Kong are processed through designated, verified logistics carriers, such as Hongkong Post or any designated Post appointed by Velin.

In-stock items for which a purchase order is submitted and confirmed by 2:00 PM HKT (Hong Kong Time) during standard operational hours (Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays) will be prepared and packaged for dispatch within three (3) working days.

Customized or High-Value Items: Certain products may necessitate extended handling lead times and/or incur supplementary freight surcharges. Clients are mandated to refer to the specific product description docket for detailed information regarding these exceptions.

Expedited Exclusion: Priority shipment services are not applicable to items subject to mandatory extended handling periods or additional logistical costs.

Inventory Backorder Contingency: In the event of a partial inventory backorder, the principal volume of the order will be dispatched and anticipated for delivery within seven (7) to ten (10) business days of order receipt. The remaining components will be released and dispatched immediately upon stock replenishment.

II. Expedited Delivery Options (Hong Kong & China)

2.1 Three-Day Priority Dispatch

All available in-stock items ordered and confirmed by 2:00 PM HKT are guaranteed for delivery within three (3) business days (Monday – Friday, excluding public holidays) with additional priority processing fees.

Logistical Constraint: Please note that carriers like HK Express or their partners cannot deliver to a Post Office Box (P.O. Box) address; a valid street address is required.

Geographic and Item Restrictions: Priority Express delivery is not accessible for orders shipping outside the HKSAR territory and China; or for items specifically designated as requiring additional preparation time or enhanced shipping surcharges.

Pricing: Refer to the Official Shipping and Handling Rate Schedule for applicable charges.

2.2 Normal Day Dispatch

All available in-stock items ordered and confirmed by 2:00 PM HKT are guaranteed for delivery on the next business day (Monday – Friday, excluding public holidays).

Restrictions: Same restrictions apply regarding P.O. Boxes, shipments outside the HKSAR, and items with special handling requirements.

Pricing: Refer to the Official Shipping and Handling Rate Schedule for applicable charges.

III. International Consignments (Outside HKSAR & China)

For all consignments dispatched outside the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and China, payment must be processed using a major international credit facility (VISA, MasterCard, American Express or any global Brands). Refer to the Official Shipping and Handling Rate Schedule for applicable international pricing structures.

Please be aware that delivery times for international orders may vary significantly depending on the destination, customs processing, and local carrier operations. While we strive to process and dispatch all orders promptly, customers should anticipate that international shipments can take up to fourteen (14) business days to arrive from the date of shipment. This timeframe does not include weekends, public holidays, or potential delays caused by unforeseen circumstances or customs inspections. A tracking number will be provided upon dispatch to allow you to monitor your shipment’s progress.

IV. Handling of Bulk and Freight Shipments

All purchase orders identified with a PO Trace Number#. Multi-box consignments will be dispatched via specialized freight forwarding services. These shipments are ineligible for expedited delivery and may require an extended arrival lead time.

Mandatory Receipt Signature: A duly authorized party must be physically present at the delivery location to sign for and formally receive the shipment. (Note: Freight carriers often provide a prior call notification to schedule arrival.)

Verification Protocol: The recipient is obligated to verify the count of all received parcels against the delivery manifest before signing the receipt. Any discrepancy must be formally noted on the receipt before signature, and Velin’s Customer Service Department must be immediately contacted.

Damage Protocol: If the packages present conspicuous external damage upon arrival, the recipient may refuse the shipment. If the shipment is accepted, the damage must be explicitly documented on the receipt prior to signature, followed by immediate notification to Velin.

Unloading Responsibility (Curbside Delivery): All standard freight deliveries are curbside (or loading dock) only. The Client is responsible for unloading the delivery from the transport vehicle and arranging for internal transit. No inside delivery service is implied.

Special Service: A comprehensive, custom-quoted delivery service that includes delivery to a specific design or tailoring the product will require a separate quotation.
